New Around Here
Hi
I have an old (2014) R7000 that still works fine (I think). I recently install the latest FreshTomato.
I configured it as an AP cabled (LAN port to LAN port. Everything works fine. The 2.4GHz WiFi works fine, but when I configure the 5GHz, and I select 80MHz bandwidth, the router makes a 40Mhz 802.11N on channel 52.
Here are the screen shots:
When I check the Wifi Radar of my Asus Router it shows a 5GHz SSID a/b/g/n on ch. 52 with 40GHz band.
How do you explain that?

Thanks guys

In the first screenshot Channel is on Auto: what if you select a channel...

BTW, did you factory reset the router ?

Yes I did the following. 1. In Netgear FW factory reset -> Install FreshTomato initial -> Install FreshTomato 2012.2
In the first screen when I select 80MHz I cannot choose the channel, I have only one option Auto. No idea why
When select 40MHz I can select channels
