Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a router that has a really good radius client built into it. I have the RV180W and I'm happy with it, but I want to know if there is a router that is better suited to my needs. I want a router that has VPN support (proprietary or PPTP) that authenticates the users against the radius server. Right now I am running into an issue on my RV180w where the wireless clients won't authenticate against the radius server (but I think to fix that I have to perform a factory reset, I just don't want to do that yet). Any suggestions are good, but I give preference to Cisco, Netgear, and Asus.

Thank you,

Cisco ASA's are capable of doing that. I use them to authenticate VPN's via TACACS but they can also do RADIUS.

What's your budget?

Yes, I run them here. Typical Cisco setup though, you need to know what you are doing. You can also do a failover bundle that flips when one goes down.

I was looking on Ebay and I think that might be a little far out of reach for me, but what do you guys think of PFSense? I was looking at the options and it looks like they do what i'm looking for, or has anyone worked with Juniper?
