If I restore the router to factory defaults with only a couple of Ethernet-connected Windows computers connected, I see this in Explorer -> Network
The MAC address doesn't match anything I can found in the router or my computers.
If I restore my settings (where LAN address is 198.168.10.x), there is no such device.
Why does it show only with defaults? The Internet tells me the device has something to do with Wi-Fi chipsets. Why does it show at all?
