I need to purchase a reliable router and repeater combo. I'm thinking that I would like some synergy between the products, maybe a well tested pair from the same manufacturer.
This is going into a building that is a 7 story (!!) split; testing just one router it's difficult to get a signal from basement to rooftop. I can get a good signal on about 3 of the floors at once.
That's why I am after a repeater unit that will hopefully extend the network to the upper floors.
Past routers I have had to occasionally reboot or reset at random times; that is mainly what I'd like to buy to avoid (vs buying for throughput).
There will also be a lot of devices on the nework, probably 12 at any one time.
