Big fan of Asuswrt-Merlin and want to stay on it. My AC66R is no longer supported by latest builds and I want to stay current. I would rather not spend a fortune but it would be nice to future-proof if possible. Home use, no significant distance or bandwidth requirements. I'm in Canada if it makes a difference. What would you recommend?

RT-AC66U_B1, which is the same as the RT-AC68U at a lower price. The next step up would the RT-AC86U, but if you don't have any issues with your current setup it's hard to see why you would want to spend the extra money.
