@RMerlin I have run into unusual problem. The Network Map says Internet status: Disconnected even though on the right pane, it shows the WAN IP and everything correctly. Internet works fine on all devices but router has the Red light saying no internet connectivity. After few minutes, it says connected and then reverts to disconnected. This keeps on and on.
BTW I am connecting via PPPOe and using NextDNS under DNS-over-TLS.

This is not unusual, it has been reported many times if you used search. ;)

Try setting different DNS servers in the WAN settings (instead of Automatic).

I manually entered these NextDNS
45.90.28.145
45.90.30.145
Previously DNS setting was automatic. That was causing the disconnect issue.
When using DNS-over-TLS, it should ignore manually set DNS but it doesn't and determines that router is not connected to the internet.
 
I use CloudFlare for my DNS. 1.1.1.1. and 1.0.0.1. :)
 
Will you receive a new IP after the disconnect?

No it was the same IP as my ISP's website logs showed that I had 23 hrs DHCP sessions which is the DHCP lease time set from their side. Just that Merlin firmware kept alternating between Connected and Disconnected every few minutes.
 
try ... see if works
click on -> WAN ( left side ) , Under --> Special Requirement from ISP
set --> Enable VPN + DHCP Connection to No --> than apply
