Every so often i get this error while trying to update the settings on my router. It is very intermittent where it sometimes only happens once a month, but it stays there for an indeterminate amount of time.

It doesnt matter what settings im trying to update, port forwarding, dhcp settings, dnsfilter, etc. As soon as i click on the "Apply" button nothing happens - except for the error in my browser console. I've tried several different browsers and the error has followed me through several FW upgrades.

Are you using a browser ad-blocker? If so try turning it off.

I'm running it on a fresh windows install using edge browser. still have the issue.

i've even tried going through my phone browser and it didnt help any

Maybe thread is old BUT i stumbled upon this bug/problem (bug rather) - privoxy proxy was the killer in my case, direct http connection solved the case
