I am seeing a repetitious (about every 30 seconds) message in the log with ASUS RT-AC68U, firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.20624:

:
Mar 27 16:41:09 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:41:46 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:42:17 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:42:47 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:43:18 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:43:47 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
Mar 27 16:44:18 rc_service: watchdog 296:notify_rc start_cfgsync
:
I have two wired repeaters, but I am not using AiMesh.

@arthurlien: Any thoughts on cause or how to resolve it?

Could you send feedback with system log, wifi log by Feedback function ?

Thank you for your prompt reply. Logs submitted -- I submitted system log earlier today, but I just resubmitted both system and wifi logs. FYI, the same message/error appears in the repeater logs as well with no known adverse effect on any of the nodes. Also, as a correction, I have three (not two as originally reported) wired repeaters (all RT-AC68U) connected to the RT-AC68u router.

Same problem here. rc_service: watchdog 804:notify_rc start_cfgsync

Solved my problem to got back to : Version 3.0.0.4.384.20467

Update to the latest firmware 20648 as one of the issues resolved was Fixed abnormal message in system log

Hi KevTech,

Thanks for your reply.

I think you missed my last comment. No brobs. Thing is, i just came from 20648. there the trouble began with flooding errors arround 60 secs. I downgraded one level and with this dwngrade i can swap any of my open vpn profiles and close yhem and use my wan ip (netflix) whitout the flooding and error message. When i upgrade to 20648 and do such simuliar things It floods rc_service: watchdog 804:notify_rc start_cfgsync... I really would like the 20648 and have the security patch and all other upgrades. Hope it will be solved as this is the sollution for me now.

I wonder when this version will be available for other supported routers?
