Reverting to Asus Firmware

Hi,
I just like to check if I am on firmware version 376.49_5, can I still revert back to Asus latest firmware? According to the FAQ it should be just the matter of flashing the firmware, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Appreciate your advice on this.

What router model? The RT-AC68U currently needs you to flash Asus's 3.0.0.4.376_3626 first, as it contains a low-level upgrade that's required for the newer 378_xxxx firmwares. All other models, you can directly flash Asus's firmware.
