There is an interesting article here but I'm not sure I understand clearly the results...

I don't want to steal the image from the article to post it here but are we looking to get 100% in all 4 middle columns? How come we are so far from this? I guess there is no need to worry if results are similar from one company to another?

Yeah, pretty lazy "reporting" from ZDNet :rolleyes:, but then what do you expect. This was covered by others back in December, so not "news".
 
This article is more academical than anything. Just because router's software stacks don't all fully support all of these mean very little concretely. And the reasons for not doing so are due to hardware limitations more than anything, not because manufacturers just decided not to implement them.

If you want to worry about something, worry about manufacturers still using obsolete components in their software stacks, like OpenSSL 0.9.8 or 10 years old versions of dnsmasq... Those are the real issues that need addressing above all.
