I use a 2Wire 3801hgv modem/router from AT&T for U-verse service. Attached to it is a Linksys BEFSR81 that serves as a hub/switch for my Cat-5 wired home network.
I need to extend my wireless signal to my third floor. I am looking for a moderately priced 802.11n router to use as a bridge. The plan would be to connect the router through the wall outlet on the third floor via the Cat-5 that runs to the switch and then to the 2Wire.
Any recommendation on routers would be most appreciated.
