With the new demise of Netgear which had this capability and did for years, I'm now on the hunt for a new manufacturer that offers the ability to bond secondary WAN IP addresses onto a single physical interface. The other major requirements: VPN support of at minimum the site to site variety, 800 Mbps of full filtered throughput, 50k simultaneous connections minimum. Oh, and must be a commercially supported product, no RYO device here. UTM is not required, there's a secondary appliance that handles that, this is strictly the edge device and VPN device.
So far, the only things I've turned up are Cisco ISRs and their ilk, all well over $2,000. Ubiquiti if they support it don't document that they support it, Cisco's new RV are otherwise perfect but lack just this one feature, and I can go down the list of lots of companies with iffy products and no documentation of secondary WAN IP
This is for personal use, but I'm going to need a stack of them - my family's network is linked via site to site VPN, and two of the locations use multiple WAN IP addresses coming in via a single Ethernet link. I used to do a lot of SMB networking (for a living) but have moved on to bigger and better things several years ago, so the players and landscaped have changed significantly since then.
Does anybody know of any products which support this feature? I can't be the only person with multiple static IP handoff.
