RP-BE58 is on factory firmware out of the box. I advise all users to update the firmware via the LAN port at the bottom of the device. The other end of the Ethernet cable is temporarily connected to the router's LAN ports to access the interface and administrator page and update the firmware. My laptop was wirelessly connected to the WIFI network. Once updated, the RP-BE58 will work as advertised. Set up the Mesh network or use Repeater mode, and it will get a better signal afterward. I hope this helps, and you don't have to spend hours on this as I did.
