RT-AC3100 Firmware choice

I still run 3 RT-AC3100 in wired AP mode out in the shop and garages. They're currently running Merlin 386.14_2

I see there's an ASUS release ASUS RT-AC3100 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_48322 dated 02/26/2025 on the ASUS website.

Will there be a Merlin update coming along to incorporate whatever was released in the "official software" or given the RT-AC3100 went EOL, is it time to just revert them all to the ASUS firmware?

TIA

It's time now to drop back to using the Asus firmware. There's no real benefit to running Merlin on nodes, and Merlin no longer supports the RT-AC3100.
Your other option is to stick with the firmware you have if your setup is fine. For security you only need to keep your Internet connected router up to date.

Slightly OT, but my 3200 is running fresh tomato, working nicely for me :)

That's what I thought and what I've done in the past as well. Always like to ask in case something's changed! THANKS for the response!
