RT-AC66U & iPhone VPN Setup

Hi, i would like to know if i can setup VPN on my AC66U and connect with my iphone through VPN then access my shared folders with an iOS Applications like FileExplorer.. Not sure if that possible?

I know the router has the AiCloud feature but i don't like it..

EDIT:
I configured VPN on my router.
With my iphone i created VPN connection with PPTP protocol and connected with ip 192.168.2.X
My PC has 192.168.1.X i can ping the iphone
But with my iphone i can't navigate and i can't see my shared network folders..

EDIT:
From my windows PC (192.168.1.111) i can ping my iphone (192.168.10.2)
but not the reverse???

Could this be the issue??

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wonder, can you surf the web through VPN with your iPhone? I have set up an VPN on my RT-N66U router, but I can not surf the web.

As an alternative you might consider running a VPN client on your Iphone (L2TP if possible) and then FTP ing into your network to review files on your home network.

You will have most or all of the security of running the VPN on your router and probably better throughput.
