New Around Here
Hello all you beatiful people! I got some problems getting my RT-AC68U t
o connect to the internet through an USB Modem (Huawei E3276), wondering if ya fellas could provide some help or assistance?

Allrighty, I got problems with both Merlin and Stock Firmware, either the router fails to connect using the modem or fails to detect it.

Here is a small cut off the log, hopefully part of the problem:

Code:
Aug  1 03:00:58 WAN_Connection: Ethernet link up.
Aug  1 03:00:58 rc_service: wanduck 452:notify_rc restart_wan_if 0
Aug  1 03:01:08 pppd[2039]: pppd 2.4.7 started by asus, uid 0
Aug 1 03:01:14 WAN_Connection: Fail to connect with some issues.
Aug  1 03:01:18 pppd[2039]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyUSB0
Aug  1 03:01:50 pppd[2039]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Aug  1 03:01:50 pppd[2039]: Connection terminated.
Aug  1 03:01:57 pppd[2039]: disconnect script failed
Aug  1 03:01:58 pppd[2039]: Modem hangup
Aug  1 03:02:20 pppd[2039]: Connect script failed

The last line repeats couple times, then it starts stopping couple daemons.

I am using version 380.68_4, the latest one as of today. I also tried with the latest stock firmware, but had the same problem.
