My trusted old print server just died. I have a RT-AC68U (with Merlin) lying around and was wondering if I can use it as a USB Print Server. I would like to connect it to my current router (Orbi) and just use it as a print server to access my printer. It will be even better if I can use the ethernet ports of AC68U as a switch.

I can't figure out how to do this (I am sorry I am a bit of a newbie).

Please help!

Configure it as an Access Point, as you don't want to use it as a router (you can even turn off its WiFi). Then USB Application > Network Printer Server
