RT-AC68U or R7000 to go with PCE-AC68

New Around Here
Ok, guys I bought myself an Asus PCE-AC68 wireless adapter and considering the good review of Netgear's router on the site I'm wondering between the two. What's the better router in terms of better wireless coverage and stability ? I would like to have next to no problems with my router(like with my old EA4500)

I have been trying to decide what direction to go myself.
The newer routers just don't appear stable/mature enough for my liking.
I have always been an ASUS fan but like you, I don't want to spend my time getting and keeping a router working. My interests are elsewhere at this time.
I am still using my old WRT54GS which has never given me a problem.
But times have changed and want to upgrade.
I have hardwired all my rooms in the house so not so critical at this time for me but looking at purchasing a Synology NAS and wanting to integrate everything along with having the option of using wireless for watching video in the backyard and porch.
Anyway, I am hoping you will get some good thoughts on finding a stable router here for home use.
