RT AC68U WIFI dead

Greetings,
I own a Asus RT AC68U AC1900 model router,
from past one week, only LAN connection is working, while 2.4ghz and 5ghz router signal is not visible at all,
after resetting the router few times, 2.4ghz got visible but very weak signal and no internet connectivity.
Is the router dead?

Could be the power supply.

Try a complete electrical reset. Unplug the power for 5-10 seconds while the router power button is still switched on, then plug it back again.

i doubt regarding power supply, as the led on the router for 2.4 and 5 ghz are lit and shown as active, its just that on my desktop or other devices none of the ssid are visiblle.

Had that with mine years ago, took me forever to figure this out, then replaced router and all good again....

Happened to my RT-AC68U. You can download the wifi analyzer and you may find SSID with weak signal around < -85dBm
