I have a RT-AC87R as my router and several sonos controllers, boost and bridge. I read on a Q&A on sonos that there was no way to fix IPs. But you could fix the MAC addresses. Sooo i looked around the DHCP screen and found something near the bottom of the screen that says "manually assigned IP around the DHCP list"

I am a stupid old man. Does this mean inside the IP pool or outside the IP pool of numbers? To me "around" means outside, but never mind, neither assignments types inside or outside seems to change my Sonos IPs.

Any comments welcome.

You can assign both inside and outside IP's there.

Once you have, power down all network equipment and then bring them up one at a time:

Modem, wait 5 to 10 minutes.

Router, wait 5 minutes.

Device 1, wait a minute for it to boot up.

Device 2, wait a minute for it to boot up...

Until all your network has booted. Now, you should see the IP addresses you assigned.
