RT-AC87U - 5 Ghz radio just died on 380.65_4

Upgraded to 308.65_4 a couple of days ago and seemed fine.

Just now 5G disappeared, reboot did nothing. Also Internet access seemed unstable.

Reverted to 308.65_2 and all working again, for now.

The RT-AC87U wireless driver hasn't changed since April 2016...

Something similar happened to me, i solved it puting the radio cannel for 5 GHz in manual mode with a fixed channel, in automatic mode 5 GHz dissapear.

Strange then.

I have put the merlin bios on this router from the day I bought it, and never had an issue.

Sat here last night, tablets, phone, all on 5g died. 2.5g had no internet access either. Same for wired. Router showed no internet access.

Rebooted router. Came up exactly the same. No 5g, 2g no internet

Shut down router, rebooted modem, started router. Same story.

Ran ISP diagnostic from my phone thru the internet, it said connection to modem checks out ok. Router reported that ISP DNS not working.

Reverted bios, reboots, all back to normal.

I think I already have 5g on a dedicated channel having worked out the neighbors use other channels.

Should I try latest version again?
