RT-AC87U AC Adapter Replacement

New Around Here
Hello,

Unfortunately in a move I recently made the power cord for my AC87U has gone missing and likely didn't make it home. I have been trying to determine where I can acquire a replacement power cord and haven't really found one. I know that the AC adapter has an output of 19V 2.37A and I found on ASUS's website an AC adapter with that output but it doesn't explicitly state it is for the AC87U.

The one I identified is model 0A001-00232100 (seen here: http://us.estore.asus.com/collections/ac-adapter/products/45-watt-ac-adapter-0a001-00232100)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It sucks having a $200 router be sidelined.

It's 19 volt and 2.37 amp so it's a match. Priced at $11.16 with free shipping it's a steal! Gonna grab one as a spare. :)

It's the same part number as on my own adapter, so as long Asus doesn't use the same part numbers for different plug tips, it should be the same.

Agreed. However, it looks nothing like the OEM A/C adapter so I put my $0.02 worth in just to clarify for the newbies...

Hi, does anyone knows if adp-45aw will work on the AC87U? It has same voltage, amps, and pin barrels seems to be the same size but I'm not sure.
