RT-AC87U, Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13_10

I have noteced that despite turning 5GHz radio off, its 5 GHz chip's temperature remains the same - around 71C - so phisically is not off.

I'm asking, how is this possible?

And the other for me "strange" thing: Yesterday I set 5 GHz OFF, and set schedule for 2.4GHz (3 hours off during the night). Today in the morning I found both 2.4 and also 5 GHz ON ... does anybody know how is this possible?

Well, 71C is not hot for that router, they cook much higher than that without any issue.

WiFi off, are you sure you saved the settings?

What does it mean "save the settings"? I confirmed changes on each window by "apply" button and then wait to finish procedure, which sometimes takes more than a minute ...
