I noticed in the changelog that IPSec was added to AC87U some time ago. So I upgraded to 384.5 but can still only choose from PPTP and OpenVPN under VPN Server.

Is IPSec not available on AC87U anymore or have I misunderstood something?

    Cheers,

    /Martin

It never was available for that model.

Hmm, true. I cannot find that info in the changelog now so I must have been confused. Or could it be available in standard Asus firmware?

No. IPSEC is not available for any of the SDK 6.37 devices, which means RT-AC56U, RT-AC68U or RT-AC87U.

OK, thanks for the info! I found where I got the AC87U+IPSec info, apparently that site (not Asus nor Merlin related) was wrong.

It requires kernel changes that are incompatible with pre-compiled modules from third parties.
