    Hi,

I attached a portable hard drive (USB3.0) to the router. I enabled the DLNA. I tried both VLC and another client (UPNP Xtreme) on my iPhone, which is only half a foot away from the router. However, it takes forever to see photos or video that are stored on the hard drive.

If wireless is the problem, I'd imagine I would not be able to stream from Netflix. However, streaming from Netflix is no problem, while streaming from a local hard drive would not work.

    What could I do?

    Thanks..
    Jeffrey
