RT-AX82U Memory usage is continuously 97% after I enabled UPnP Media Server

I connected an external hard drive to my router and enabled the UPnP Media Server. After all files were scanned, 97% of memory is still being used when no one is accessing these files from a device. CPU usage is normal.

Is this normal? If so, what is causing the memory usage to be so high?

In the long run, will a continuously high memory usage reduce how long the router will last?

It is normal, it is the cache causing this. There is lots of information on the forums if you search for it.

AX88U high RAM usage, maybe?

Need some help understanding why htop and the router's panel seem to be telling a different story. I have ample swap with amtm and entware running (1 active package –– conmon) The problem goes away temporarily upon restart but resurfaces after a while. 386.4
