I have a network with:
- Spectrum 500 mb cable internet
- Spectrum modem
- Asus RT-AX86U next to modem, downstairs in the living room. On the latest Asus-Merlin firmware.
- Asus RT-AX82U, upstairs on the 2nd floor as an AI mesh node, connected to the AX86U downstairs with a 50FT Cat 5e ethernet cable. On the latest firmware from the GNuton fork of Asus-Merlin.
- Both routers have MerlinAU.
I'm experiencing issues with devices connecting to Wi-Fi with my AX82U in the past few days, where it previously worked without issue. I've noticed that all of my wireless devices are connecting to the AX86U downstairs, with zero devices connected wirelessly to the AX82U, even though most my wireless devices are in the 2nd floor. The ethernet connection works fine however. I've tried power cycling a few times, factory resetting both devices, still the same issue with the Wi-Fi. Any advice?
