Hi,

The following message/pattern repeats itself over and over again, every day. I don't remember seeing it before, but I don't study the system log so I'm not sure. My connection(s) seem fine. Any thoughts?

Oct 3 08:05:40 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link DOWN.
Oct 3 08:05:43 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link Up at 1000 mbps full duplex
Oct 3 08:30:50 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link DOWN.
Oct 3 08:30:52 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link Up at 10 mbps full duplex
Oct 3 15:05:56 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link DOWN.
Oct 3 15:05:59 kernel: eth4 (Ext switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 11) (phyId: b) Link Up at 1000 mbps full duplex

Thanks,
Anton

Found some chatter after searching this forum regarding this likely being 'Wake on LAN' doing its thing. My only wired device is my Desktop, so I guess it's my wireless card doing its WoL thing...

My first thought would be a poor ethernet connection, but I know very little about the syslog messages.
