RT-AX86U Pro, issue with my Guest wifi network

Morning All,

I have my wifi network connected to internet through a VPN (using Merlin) and I've set-up my wifi guest network outside the VPN.
Up to yesterday afternoon everything was fine and I had no issue. But since then I've no access to internet anymore using my guest network.
I've just updated the router with the latest firmware, no change.

I definitely do not understand the root cause of this issue & do not know how & where investigate further.
Any Clue?

We know your router model but what firmware did you have and which "latest" did you upgrade to? If you went from a Merlin 388.x to the 3006.102.4 beta did you read the release notes about the Guest WIFI?

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Did not read any note, and I did not install any Beta version of software. I used the "check firmware version" into the admin setting parameters, and it proposes me to upgrade it.
My understanding (which maybe wrong actually) is I've upgraded the firmware with the last version from Asus: 3.0.0.6.102_34349, and I'm still under merlin latest version as well (3004.388.8_4)

[Edit] I do not think the issue is coming from the firmware upgrade as I mentioned I noticed the issue before doing it.
[Edit Bis] I've flashed the latest stable Merlin Firmware version and it seems to have solve the issue, will contuse to check. However not sure to understand how and why the issue came as I did nothing on firmware side previously
