RT-AX88U build instructions

Hi,

I have 3 Asus routers (RT-AC5300, RT-AC3200 and recently bought a RT-AX88U). I am able to compile the firmware for both the AC5300 and the AC3200 but cannot find instructions on how to do it for the AX88U. I would like to replace the AC3200 with the 5300 and the 5300 with the AX88U and because I have UPS connected to them I need to recompile the firmware and obtain some usb drivers. Can anyone point me to some directions?

Compile what? Stock firmware? Asuswrt-Merlin?
