Hi All,

Have an RT-AX88U and at the weekend i needed to unplug it during some furniture movements. Since then I have noticed that the 2.4ghz wifi keeps dropping connection and all connected devices lose wifi. The 5ghz is fine.

I have a fair amount of smart home devices that alert me when they go offline, so I know this happens multiple times per day. When it happens I try to connect to the network with my iPhone which can see it but cannot connect. Eventually, the network will disappear completely. Give it 20mins or so and the connection comes back.

This was working just fine before the power cycle of the router so not sure what is causing this.

Here is a snippet of my log when this happens

What firmware is it running? When did you update to this firmware? Was a full reset to factory defaults performed at that time?

Are you using a USB drive for amtm scripts or any other use?

Did you physically relocate the router?

What other features, customizations, and other essential information about your network can you provide as clues?

Running Merlin 384.19

No relocation, no reset to factory. Cannot remember when i updated to firmware but it was months ago.

No USB devices connected, no scripts.

One thing I have done is changed the SSID of the 2.4ghz network and the password. Has been stable for 10 or so hours now so
