RT-AX88U_PRO Traffic Monitor does not work

Router in router mode. Passes about 6TB per month. Traffic monitor works for about 35 days and stops working. Turning off, clearing and turning on does not help.

Are you running any addon scripts? If so which ones?
Does rebooting the router fix the issue for a period of time?
Does rolling back to earlier firmware fix the issue?

This issue is coming and going since the first HND router, RT-AC86U. Not working reliably, you have to restart the router from time to time to keep it going.

1. No. No scripts.
2. Rebooting helps. But I have about 20 devices on my network and it is very inconvenient.
3. Haven't tried reverting back to the old firmware yet. But I had this problem with the old firmware. So I don't know which firmware to go back to.

Have you tried installing the latest Merlin fw 388.8_2, then GUI factory default with initialize ticket, manual reconfigure the router (no backups), accept all the Asus/Trend concensus windows popping up!

I too have experinced some problems with traffic analyzer stops working after a while on previous fw versions. Also suspected it might got triggered by the use of manually assigned ip's...

But haven't had any problems of any kind with 388.8_2 fresh install on RT-AX88U nor RT-AX88U Pro version...

Maybe you don't have that much traffic. I have 6TB a month. That's probably why I have this bug.
And why are you saying you don't have that problem? If this thread is for people who have that problem.

No. I need an official fix, not experimentation. I don't have the ability to experiment.

This most likely won't happen on 388 firmware based Asuswrt-Merlin. Traffic Analyzer Statistic has to be fixed upstream by Asus, it's a Trend Micro engine service, closed source. Asus moved your model to 102 firmware already and perhaps no one will be fixing 388 for it. You may have to wait for 102 based Asuswrt-Merlin and try again. Unfortunately, you can't report issues to Asus while running 3rd party firmware.

That is the Traffic Analyzer not the Traffic Monitor. They are two completely different things. The Traffic Analyzer is closed source so there's nothing RMerlin can do to fix it. You need to complain to Asus.
