RT-BE86U vs RT-BE92U

New Around Here
My 6 year old AC86U is finally dying on me, forcing me to reboot it multiple times a day. Originally I was looking at the 92U last year for 6ghz but I’ve since realized I don’t need 6ghz right now. I looked at getting a AX86U PRO but it’s out of stock locally and Amazon says it’ll take a week to get here which is too long. Locally I can get either a BE86U or a BE92U.

I’d like a router that will get software updates for the next 3 years if possible. Which of these two routers would be a better option?

Both will most likely get updates for next 3 years or longer.

I almost bought the BE86U to upgrade from an AX86U PRO but then realized that it has crippled WiFi 7 since it's missing the 6 GHz band. I ended up buying two BE92Us and they've been perfect! I connected them as an AiMesh system with MLO and getting the same internet speeds that I would normally get while connected via LAN on my laptops/phones.
