I been running the Padavan's firmware and seem to always have the following issue. Every once in a while the router seems to drop the connection with a single IP address.
From what I can tell it seems to correspond with the expiring of the DHCP lease. When I changed it to the max, 604800 seconds, it seems to help with how often it happens but I'm not 100% if this is the cause.
Anyone have any thoughts? I need to use the custom firmware because I need the Guest AP.
- The router does not drop the wireless network
- The affected device will not connect to the internet nor will it connect to the router's login. (192.168.1.1) however it will have an assigned IP address
- Other devices seem to still work and connected well
- Only devices that connect via Wireless are affected. Wired connections work with out issues.
- this issues happens on iPads, iPhones, and two laptops running windows 7
