Ok, strange to me scenario. Running latest Padavan firmware (only because things weren't working with latest ASUS provided firmware).
Network has been fine for long time. Recently been experiencing sporadic loss of connectivity. After switching to Padavan what I see is the wireless client loses internet access but is still connected to the N56U. I can bring up the N56U administration page as well as the cable modem administration page -- so connectivity to the modem is still ok even when this is happening.
Connectivity can be restored immediately by clicking reconnect on the Padavan internet status section. Things are then ok for a bit (say 5 minutes) until the same cycle needs to be repeated.
Any thoughts?
TIA
