RT-N66U and DNS IPs

New Around Here
I was wondering why in Windows when I start the Command Prompt and type "ipconfig /all", it lists my DNS server as only 192.168.1.1 (router's ip?) and there is a WINS server ip which is the same.

With my previous Linksys router, if I did an ipconfig /all it would show my ISP's 2 DNS server plus the router's ip (so 3 DNS IPs) and there was no WINS server entry before.

How do I fix that with this router so when I type "ipconfig /all" I can see my ISP's DNS servers too or see what DNS servers my router is using.

I believe if I check the Network Map in the router's page I can see my WAN settings which contain my ISP's DNS server and gateway. But I don't want to have to open up my router's page to see the DNS whenever I want to do an "ipconfig /all"

Any help or insight is appreciated.

This is by design. The router acts as a DNS proxy/cache for your network, that's why your clients use your router's IP as their DNS.

You can see the DNS being used by your router on the Network Map page, by clicking on the WAN icon. Those should very rarely change, if at all.
