[RT-N66U] Wireless Mode setting useless?

Hi,
in my RT-N66U (fw 3.0.0.4.374_720) I have set Wireless Mode as "N Only" in both bands. I have also an old Buffalo WHR-G54S wireless router, which is running DD-WRT and is configured to act as a client bridge and is using only the G wireless mode. I needed the client bridge and to my surprise it can connect to RT-R66U and the bridge is working ok. Anyone else seen that G wireless mode client can connect RT-N66U with "N Only" wireless mode setting?

Have a look to both wireless interfaces at diagnostic/status page, this might help to identify the very flexible one. I had a similar setup, without this specific issue.

I had exactly this problem (I have a couple of threads somewhere about it) - its resolved in the latest firmware (both ASUS and RMerlin).
