Currently running RT-N66U 3.0.0.4.374.35_2 how do I find out what SDK I'm running? as I'm looking to upgrade to Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.38 new code?

Many thanks for your assistance.

Paul.

If your router's firmware doesn't have 'sdk5' on the end when you're logged in, you should be at SDK6.

However, the .38 firmware is based on newer SDK6 code - so it doesn't matter what version you're now on; you should do a reset to defaults as suggested.

You may also want to wait for the updated N66U and AC66U firmware from RMerlin - he is working on this later tonight.

if you got the 'plain' version of that firmware, it's probably sdk6. all that matters when switching sdk's is that you do a factory default reset. when in doubt, just do the reset anyway

[edit/] late again lol
