New Around Here
I have 2 t mobile ac1900 that I have flashed to Merlin- they are running 384.10_2
Rt68u

I recently added a TV in the back of the house and the WiFi connection there is spotty.

I thought this would be a perfect time to use aimesh. However I don't see it in the firmware.

I flashed these routers years ago.

Just wondering where I should start. I assume I need to update them unless I should use one as a repeater?

If I need to update them, where do I start from my existing firmware

Thanks

No, you can not use Merlin firmware on a T-Mobile router. It is illegal. Go buy a real Asus router then folks here will help you.

In case you missed the stickied/tacked announcement in this subforum about that router:
[Announcement] Running Asuswrt-Merlin and forks on non-Asus devices is ILLEGAL
And a sticked/tacked post in another subforum (ASUSWRT - Official) here about that router:
SNBForums Policy on ASUS TM-AC1900 Conversion Discussion

Simply put, if you want to discuss certain topics (including updating the Asus firmware) related to the T-Mobile TM-AC1900 router then you will have to search the internet to find other websites to have such discussions.
