Hello, I would like to seek some advice for a vlan setup using the N66U.
Currently we have the N66u with the typical "guest" wireless setup on bridge1/vlan3/separate subnet, all working great for the past 3 months, non 802.1q stuff. We also have a Dlink DAP-2553 AP at the other end of our warehouse for "employees"/internal network. I found out that the DAP-2553 supports multiple SSID and vlan. I would like to create a "guest" SSID and vlan on the DAP-2553 to extend the "guest" wlan.
The DAP-2553 will tag the "guest" vlan and the "internal" vlan, then send them out the LAN port. I am trying to find out how to setup the N66U to receive the tagged frames from the DAP-2553 and forward them to the correct vlan on the N66u, basically trunking, 802.1q stuff... I looked over the GUI and I have an idea on how to set this up, but I would like to be sure.
If needed we also have a Linksys srw-2016 switch which also supports vlan.
Thanks in advance.
