Setting router in AP mode

Going to get a cheap solution, maybe a AC68U or a AC66U_B1 which will run as Access Point: does anybody know if being in AP mode I will still be able to set parental control for my kid devices?

I believe the answer is no.

I believe, it's not necessary. The router should see devices connected to AP. The router's parental controls apply to AP clients.

@tarassippo Your question is ambiguous. To be clear, any parental controls would have to be setup on your main router not the AP.
