Setup of UTM 9 routing with Tomato

New Around Here
I want to add a Sophos UTM 9 firewall to my home network. I have a Netgear R7000 running Shibby/Tomato and about 20 devices hanging on a single network. I also have a ESXi server with a bunch of VMs, one of them will be the UTM 9 server.

Now the tricky part. I want to route all of my Internet (100Mbps) traffic through the UTM9 on the ESXi box.

Here is a pic from another post of how I want to route the traffic. I want to change the "switch" for my Netgear 7000 router.

I assume I need to create some VLANs in Shibby config in the router, but that is a bit advanced for me.

Also, I will only have one instance of UTM running, not two as in the diagram.

Any help with the VLANs would be appreciated!!

there are 3 ways to do it, one is between the r7000 and modem and one is behind the r7000 with the r7000 directing traffic through it than out through WAN or have it filter LAN.
