Can someone run the Shields Up! port scan on grc.com to see if your pseudo Port 0 is 'closed' instead of 'stealth'. I've never seen 'closed' before today. Nothing I do seems to clear this result to 'stealth' like it has always been before. Thanks!

Stealth here on my RT-AC86U running the 384.14 Alpha2 builds.

Thanks! Now I'm annoyed! :D

A port nobody uses is responding for no purpose... it's always something.

Does a reboot of all the network devices used to run that test help? :)

Nope! :confused:

I have tried various changes:
o I've been wanting to retry 81049 again, so I upgraded from 45717 and tried each 86U standalone after ample resets with initialization and with WiFi switched OFF and with the entire LAN disconnected;
o I tried rebooting the primary Win7 test PC; then I disabled its adapter and tested with a mobile Nexus 7.

The only thing I have not changed is the cable modem and service.

I'm going to ignore it for now and come back later after Steve fixes his damn website! :D

Well, today it is fixed. Thanks, Steve!

Now I can continue hiding from AndreiV. :p

Try this (clue: it's the common version).
