Slower LAN transfer speed one way

New Around Here
Hi,

I bought a TP-Link 500mbps homeplug to try and get faster transfer speeds over my old 85mbps homeplugs.

The problem is when I transfer a file TO my Windows Home Server I get about 9MB/s but when I transfer FROM the server I get about 5.5MB/s.

I have tried transferring files from PC to PC over the homeplugs and I get about 9-10MB/s each way. And with a PC connected directly to the router I get 9-10MB/s each way from the server. So it seems the combination of homeplug and server is the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
