Hello,
First let me say that i love the firmware and that i appreciate the philosophy around keeping it simple and close in nature to the original ASUS firmware.
That said i hope this small feature request would be acceptable.
I use DNSEXIT.com for my dns. They offer free DDNS service for 1 free domain. So i can use my own purchased domain rather than a sub-domain.
Would be great if you could add support for them. or add generic support for DDNS setup.
Here is how DNSEXIT's ddns ip configuration works.
More info here:
http://www.dnsexit.com/Direct.sv?cmd=userIpClients
http://update.dnsexit.com/RemoteUpd...st=yourhost.yourdomain.com&myip=xxx.xx.xx.xxx
replacing the form values with your own account and domain data.
myip is optional. If not set, the IP address of your network will be detected and used as the IP for the host(subdomain).
host can have multiple hosts(subdomains) updated at the same time by seperating each host by ;. ie. host=host1.mydomain.com;host2.otherdomain.com.
thanks again for a great custom firmware.
