snmp how to.

i have looked and searched here and google and can't seem to find a guide on how to add snmp.

If someone has added snmp and knows of a guide for the rt-n66u running merlin that would be great.

Though I have not installed SNMP before, I'd bet money you can do it easily via Optware or Entware.

Check out Merlin's wiki entry for Optware, then google optware snmp (I saw a few tomato guides, which should be very similar). Good luck!

I did it a long time ago so cant remember exact steps, but I installed optware on an external usb drive and installed the snmp package - works fine for monitoring from PRTG.
