New Around Here
Hello,

I work in an office building where 3 different business operate on the same physical cable. I thought I could setup my routers this way (see below) and make it all work. However, when I setup the 3rd LAN my connection is lost for about 30 - 40 seconds after about 40 successful pings to an outside IP. I would appreciate some help if anyone has any ideas.

Router 1
WAN - DHCP to Brighthouse High Speed
LAN - 192.100.50.1 / 255.255.255.0
GW - 192.100.50.1
--------------------------------------
Router 2
WAN - Static IP to 192.100.50.5
GW - 192.100.50.1

LAN - 192.168.2.x / 255.255.255.0
--------------------------------------
Router 3
WAN - Static IP to 192.100.50.5
GW - 192.100.50.1
LAN - 192.168.3.x / 255.255.255.0

Thank you - Please ask if you need more details

Router 3 has the same WAN IP as Router 2.. making a change to one or the other should make a difference.

Glad to see you got this resolved. In the future if I may be of assistance please let me know. I am the Online Forums Manager for Bright House Networks.
