Does Merlin take care of the wifi issues that I have been reading about? I'm about to pick up a 88U,but don't want to deal with wifi issues.

The WiFi stuff is largely if not completely closed source and as such comes directly over from the official vendor firmware.

i resolved my 2.4ghz wifi issues for my ac88 finally by just changing the channel from auto to setting it to 6. Channels 1, 6, and 11 have the least overlap.

The problems started with the new asus 384 code base. Up to now i've been using auto channel selection. Stock has the exact same problems.

I'm using a 88U for over an year without any wi-fi problem, always using Merlin's firmware.
