Okay i am gonna keep this short.
Yesterday i tought to myself '' Hey why not try tomato firmware for the fun ''
And i did installing it went perfect no problems at all.
Check everything clearing nvram settings blah blah blah...
But OFCOURSE tomato wasnt the thing i was looking for so i reverted back to merlins build open VPN beta 2 for the n66u.

Install whent smooth as butter, and i was about to configure my network 5GHZ.
And hell something gave me an 80 MHZ option.
I have used this beta before and i did not see it before its the same firmware i used before.

So how the hell did that 80MHZ option got there anyway?????????

Now i am curios what is it what does it do ?

edit.
Okay for some reason i really flashed the firmware of an RT-AC66U.
These routers are really tough it had to be bricked but it isnt its stil running normal :S

HAHAHAHA:D

Sounds like somehow you flashed the RT-AC66U firmware instead of the RT-N66U firmware. 80 MHz is 802.11ac.
