SSH port 22 remains open

I changes the port in Administration > System > SSH port to a different one from the default. However, PuTTY is still able to connect to that port and log in to the terminal.

I am using
Model RT-AC86U
Firmware Version 384.13

Can you log in using the new port? In other words, are you saying there are now 2 ports running SSH, or that your change has not taken effect?

Sorry, apologies, it was my mistake. Only 1 port is open, the issue was with the app Termius which was not functioning properly and it showed as if would have reached the router. Apologies for the false alarm.
